Ingredients
- 1.5 g Black Pepper
- 1.25 g Dried Thyme
- 15 g Fresh Rosemary
- 2.25 g Garlic
- 1.25 g Garlic Powder
- 35 g Lemon
- 8 g Olive oil
- 40 g Onion
- 1.25 g Paprika
- 3 g Salt
- 250 g Whole Chicken
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
- Pat the chicken dry with paper towels. Rub olive oil over the chicken and season with salt, pepper, paprika, garlic powder, and dried thyme.
- Place the lemon halves, onion quarters, garlic cloves, and rosemary sprigs inside the chicken cavity.
- Place the chicken breast-side up in a roasting pan or baking dish. Optionally, tie the legs together with kitchen twine.
- Roast the chicken in the preheated oven for 1 hour and 15 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C) at the thickest part of the breast and thighs.
- Remove the chicken from the oven and let it rest for 10 minutes before carving. Serve with roasted vegetables or your favorite side dishes.
