Ingredients
- 6 g Brown Sugar
- 10 g Canola Oil
- 18 g Chili Garlic Sauce
- 8 g Fish Sauce
- 10 g Fresh Basil
- 10 g Garlic
- 6 g Ginger
- 180 g Jasmine rice
- 15 g Lime juice
- 120 g Red Bell Pepper
- 10 g Soy Sauce
- 170 g White Shrimp
Instructions
- Pat shrimp dry. Thinly slice bell pepper; mince garlic and ginger; roughly tear basil leaves.
- Stir together chili garlic sauce, fish sauce, soy sauce, lime juice, and brown sugar until dissolved.
- Heat canola oil in a skillet over medium-high. Sauté bell pepper 2–3 minutes until slightly softened.
- Add garlic and ginger; cook 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Add shrimp and cook 1–2 minutes per side until just opaque.
- Pour in the sauce and toss 30–45 seconds until glossy and slightly thickened.
- Turn off heat and fold in basil until just wilted.
- Meal prep: add cooked jasmine rice to a container and top with Thai basil shrimp. Cool, seal, and refrigerate.
