Ingredients

  • 170 g Beef Broth
  • 5 g Canola Oil
  • 60 g Carrot
  • 1 g Dried Oregano
  • 2 g Garlic Powder
  • 180 g Green Cabbage
  • 150 g Lean ground beef
  • 2 g Paprika
  • 60 g Rice
  • 1 g Salt
  • 180 g Tomato Sauce

Instructions

  1. Thinly slice the cabbage, grate or dice the carrot, and dice the onion.
  2. Heat the canola oil in a large skillet or pot over medium heat.
  3. Add the onion and lean ground beef, then cook until the beef is browned, breaking it up as it cooks.
  4. Stir in the carrot, cabbage, garlic powder, paprika, oregano, and salt. Cook until the cabbage starts to soften.
  5. Add the rice, tomato sauce, and beef broth, then stir well.
  6. Bring to a gentle simmer, cover, and cook until the rice is tender and most of the liquid is absorbed.
  7. Let the mixture rest off the heat for a few minutes, then fluff and portion into meal-prep containers.
