Ingredients
- 170 g Beef Broth
- 5 g Canola Oil
- 60 g Carrot
- 1 g Dried Oregano
- 2 g Garlic Powder
- 180 g Green Cabbage
- 150 g Lean ground beef
- 2 g Paprika
- 60 g Rice
- 1 g Salt
- 180 g Tomato Sauce
- 50 g Yellow Onion
Instructions
- Thinly slice the cabbage, grate or dice the carrot, and dice the onion.
- Heat the canola oil in a large skillet or pot over medium heat.
- Add the onion and lean ground beef, then cook until the beef is browned, breaking it up as it cooks.
- Stir in the carrot, cabbage, garlic powder, paprika, oregano, and salt. Cook until the cabbage starts to soften.
- Add the rice, tomato sauce, and beef broth, then stir well.
- Bring to a gentle simmer, cover, and cook until the rice is tender and most of the liquid is absorbed.
- Let the mixture rest off the heat for a few minutes, then fluff and portion into meal-prep containers.
