Garlic Pork and Broccoli Pasta

A simple meal-prep pasta with extra lean ground pork, broccoli, and a light garlic tomato sauce. It reheats well for easy lunches or dinners.

Ingredients

  • 1 g Black Pepper
  • 120 g Broccoli
  • 120 g Extra Lean Ground Pork
  • 6 g Garlic
  • 2 g Italian Seasoning
  • 7 g Olive oil
  • 50 g Onion
  • 90 g Pasta
  • 2 g Salt
  • 160 g Tomato Sauce

Instructions

  1. Bring a pot of salted water to a boil and cook the pasta until just tender.
  2. Add the broccoli to the pasta water during the last 2 to 3 minutes of cooking, then drain everything well.
  3. Heat the olive oil in a skillet and cook the onion until softened.
  4. Add the garlic and extra lean ground pork, then cook until the pork is no longer pink and breaks up into small pieces.
  5. Stir in the tomato sauce, Italian seasoning, salt, and black pepper, then simmer for a few minutes.
  6. Add the drained pasta and broccoli to the skillet and toss until everything is evenly coated.
  7. Divide into meal-prep containers and cool before refrigerating.
